The site for the latest addition to the Curro group of Private Schools is situated in Bankenveld, next to the picturesque Witbank Dam.  Opening in January 2011 from grade RR - 8, it will  eventually be a combined, parallel-medium (Afrikaans and English) school from Grade RR - 12 and offers a proud tradition of learning excellence... Accreditation

Curro is one of a few private schools in South Africa which is provisionally accredited by Umalusi, Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training. We are in the process of registering Curro Bankenveld with the Mpumalanga Education Department.

CURRO is a Christian-based educational institute and promotes and fosters positive values and norms. Mutual understanding and respect for educators, parents and learners are core values. Conflict management, decision-making and time management are also regarded as priorities in our life skills and value-added programmes.

Our school will accommodate fast, average and slow learners. Small classes of twenty will enable us to pay individual attention to learners and to ensure  support where necessary. We also aim to challenge those learners who can progress at a faster pace.

We invest in continuous staff development. Relevant curricula make dynamic curriculum development inevitable. The members of our executive management team are all experienced curriculum specialists. Effective staff development leads to new and relevant learning content and teaching methods in the classroom.

CURRO's educators are all bilingual and well qualified, but most importantly, they all love children. This is important because we believe that the positive development of a child's self-concept is a prerequisite for effective learning. We also believe that positive thinking should form an integral part of our school's ethos. Furthermore we believe that there is a future for each and every child in this country.
